It has been a while since I wrote last & goodness what a whirl wind. We made the mini trip to Tennessee for the wedding & it was beautiful but cold. The temp dropped that weekend & my father & I sat in wind including some mist from a pond fountain outside wedding. My aunts sister started bringing blankets from the house for the quests to use no joke! From there we came back to normal life with some added church drama. My father-n-law is the Pastor of our church & when there are problems it affects all of us. So, after some meetings, an evangelist friend & his wife coming in to preach our services for two weeks, & loosing some church family members (because they are like family), it was finally time to have my daughters birthday party with the grandparents. She decided that she wanted a hello kitty themed birthday. We had hello kitty plates, napkins, & yes cupcakes. They turned out cute & everything went relatively smooth. She had a good time and that is all that matters!
Also, we recently found out that our church organist will not be returning to play the organ. Due to her health she is retiring from her duties. She will be missed playing the organ she did such a fantastic job. Now it is time to step it up. I took piano lessons for at least seven years & I am no Sebastian Bach that is for sure. I am a basic player at best. I can play intermediate arranged music & any more difficult than that is going to take some time. I also was never taught how to chord so in church I have never played the piano because I don't know how to play a chorded accompaniment. I have been trying for a while to teach myself but you know how that goes with a husband & two kids. Very slow!!! So, guess what I did? Before I even found out that our organist was retiring I offered to help in anyway that I could to fill in. Now I am scrambling to learn some music for offeritories, congregational music, soon to be added choir specials, & then the dreaded Christmas music. Yes I said Christmas music & I'll be lucky that in six months that I might be ready to play.
This is where the overwhelmed feeling is coming from & the need to organize. Because I need to organize my time very wisely. I need to be doing a lot of praying. My kids are so important to me & lately I feel like I am letting everyday life get in the way of spending quality time with them. The kitchen needs cleaned, bathrooms, my room, their rooms, everything needs vacuumed, the unending task of laundry, I need to exercise because I need to loose weight, & I feel like they are getting left out & it is making me miserable. On top of this my son starts kindergarten this year & we are homeschooling. I feel as if I have made a wrong decision about volunteering with the music because right now I don't know if I can handle the tasks at hand. I want to be able to do everything & be good at it all. I want to give the kids the quality time that they need, do well with my sons schooling, be that good housekeeper, wife, daughter, daughter-n-law, organist, & still have time to do things that I enjoy. Things like sewing my daughter new culottes & dresses, scrap booking, shopping, reading, going to the park, & anything else I might like. In the end I feel like I am going to drive myself crazy & for this feeling I have the ultimate feeling of selfishness.
I may not be posting again for a while due to the lack of time but pray for me & wish me luck to accomplish what the Lord sees fit for me in my present state & that where I am lacking he will strengthen & supply. I pray that He will show me all that I need to do & provide the means to be able to accomplish it. I also pray that I will have the humbleness to see that He knows whats best & will provide in every situation. Without Him I can do nothing. He is my strength, my refuge, & my salvation!

Scripture to model my life after!
"Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands." Proverbs 14:1 "A virtuos woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rotteness in his bones." Proverbs 12:4 "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also. and he praiseth her." Proverbs 31:28

Made the goal on some home re-organization!
Well last week I said that I wanted to re-organize my kitchen & I did! It looks so much better when u open up the pantry. Now I need to clean my kitchen we went without hot water for almost a week & that can reek havoc on cleaning your kitchen so that is my next goal. I did tackle our bedroom closet & wow what a mess. When I was done it was like I didn't realize there was that much floor space in there. Totally rearranged the clothes & the floor & took four trashbags of clothes to goodwill. However, I did not tackle the two shevles above our clothes:(. One I ran out of time & two there was so much stuff on the floor I could not even get a chair in their to climb up on. So, that project is unfinish hopefully get that accomplished.
I'm looking forward to a mini vacation this weekend just wish the hubby was going. Packing up & headed to Tennesse for a wedding on Saturday. This should be fun! Road trip with two kids under five HAHA! Does anyone else out there coupon shop? I do & love it I am trying my hardest to get to the point where my bill is like huge & I walk out paying just a few bucks. So, obvisously I am addicted to the new TLC show Extreem Couponing. Last night the one ladies bill totaled 1902.57 & she walked out paying 103.??. Is this not amazing. I am pumped! I need to find out how to get ahold of more coupon inserts!! I am capable of saving almost 50% of my bill but I am so ready to up my game. Watch out Kroger here I come!
I so need to get the internet @ home but not in the budget currently so need to get back to work. Finished Bethanys hair bow holder so adorable will take a pic & post next Monday. Oh, & guess what it is raining here again. What is up with that two Mondays in a row!

Gloomy Rainy Days
So, this is my first ever blog crazy right! Today it is raining, stormy, gloomy, and just kind of a blah type day. This is the only day out of the week that I work thanks to my in laws, my parents, & Gods blessing. However, I am feeling a little down due to weather & that I am here by myself. My normal days are crazy, busy, & sometimes a little challenging. When you go from that to a work day by yourself it is a little lonely. It also doesn't help that my younger brother was just deployed this morning. We love & support our troops! Please keep him in prayer as he is leaving our country today. My weekend absolutely flew by without even waving as it left! My entire family has been sick this week you are welcome CVS for keeping you in business. I was so looking forward to this weekend, doing some crafting with my mother, however they left for Kentucky to see my brother & his family before he deployed today. Sundays around here are always busy. My father-n-law is the pastor of our church so Sundays are not normally days of rest around here especially with two young children.
My latest craft project is a hair bow holder for my daughters abundance of hair bows. It has been a blast to make & when you are finished it looks like a ballerina dress. When I get hers finished I will post a pic. If you would like to seem some though go to primaballerina.com & they have some adorable ones to see. I think they are a little pricey but gave me good pics to be able to make my own. I love to make hair bows for my little girl. She will be three in May and she loves to have her hair fixed & a bow in place. If you are into making hair bows there is a great place to watch how to make them & to purchase supplies hair-hardware.com. I love fixing her hair different ways also & I love this website called The Story of a Princess & Her Hair. I can't remember the web address you would have to google it. Right now her hair is to short to do most of these hairdos but I cant wait! My little boy will be five in July so we are looking into Abekka for his kindergarten curriculum. I am excited & nervous all at the same time. I cannot believe that he will start school this year! He is your typical boy but very active. He is big into transformers right now. We have been watching the cartoons from back when I was little & transformers were on TV. They are both ready for it to be warm outside so they can go outside & play. I'm a little ready but I very much dislike HOT weather.
I really need to get my house organized!!! That is about all I can think about today I am not focused at all. I am setting myself a goal for this week. Re-organize my kitchen!! It is a disaster currently & I need to give myself a good kick in the pants for letting it get that way & get it fixed. Hopefully then I will move onto our bedroom closet. I have been telling myself that I am demoing our closet for awhile now & I need to get busy. Pray for me in my endeavors that I get my goals accomplished without losing all my hair! Really need to get busy at work so post more later!
